Stunning!

The CAST is CAST
After more than 85 islanders tried out for The Sound of Music (it plays May 10-20 in the Whittier), Merritt was able to cast more than 40. Love Was in the Air!
Our staff meeting on Tuesday was interrupted by sweet music!  Island Chordsmen Plus, directed by Angel Michaels, stopped by to sing Merritt a couple of love songs from his sweetie, Janet.  Their beautiful harmonies brought tears to many an eye.  It turns out that Merritt also planned an Island Chordsmen Plus visit for Janet when she was substituting over at the elementary school that day. ...

Record-Breaking Audition!

And so it begins...
Staff and volunteers had their first production meeting a few days ago for the upcoming spring musical, The Sound of Music. (Auditions are Monday and Tuesday, February 6 and 7 at 7 pm at the Theatre).
